This week I worked on fixing some issues from last week's bake and UVs and proceeded to texture. I had a lot of fun when it came to adding stickers to my knife and I hope to improve more with working with stickers in the future. I rendered and lit in marmoset.

Small Hard Surface Model - Week 2 - Game Resolution/UV’s and First Bake
I was told to look up to Eric Mcginnis from cohort 17 as he is very good when it comes to hard surface and the way he presents his work. I took a look at Eric's blog.

Sprint #1 Delivery, Beginning/Middle/End, Part I
For the past weeks, most of what we did was planning out and changing some ideas around, I polished the main boss scenes for our game, I am trying to make 2D looking as much as 3D as possible as a concept artist and a 3D modeler.
Here is a research video I watched.

Small Hard Surface Model - Week 1 - Proxy and High-Res
This week we did the proxy and the high resolution of the knife assignment of this weel. I choiced my Instructor Nick's knife as a reference, because I am learning 3D and I wanted to follow his video's to learn every techinque. The first thing I did is to improt image planes to maya. The lesson I learned is that I try to improt the image plane in the perspective view, it locks the camera, so I import the through the side view. After I completed the proxy, I imported it to Zbrush, did boleans by following Nick's video's and polish my knife and did renders.
