Portfolio 3 Week 2 Mid Project
Unfortunately for me, I ended up catching a cold/fever after grocery shopping Thursday night. My temperature has been going up and down, but I have been bedridden and coughing nonstop. Luckily capstone has ended this past weekend for me, so I can focus my energy this week to catching up finishing up my project. Below are what I was able to accomplish this week.
I will need to get finish up the sculpt ASAP so I can start work on prototype printing.

Portfolio 2 Week 4 Final Turn In
Unfortantely I ran into a mutitude of issues while reposing my sculpt this week. Besides going back and forth a lot with the zrig and zpheres and rerigging, a restart of Zbrush ended up messing up my transpose master rig. After spending a long time posing, the error popped up after I tried to apply it. From what I can tell, it seems me having a duplicate tool as a backup in the file ended up causing the transpose master to mess up.
The other issue came with my Zbrush having issues saving. At first I thought it was viruses or my zbrush software having issues as the error mentioned antivirus. I paniced because it corrupted saves I had for my project. I ended up fixing it after realizing it was a storage issue.
I will be submitting late renders and pivoting my project at the moment to be just a high poly sculpt polypainted and rendered in Zbrush. I am sorry for the misshap and will polish it and bring it to where it should have been for industry.

Sprint #4 Delivery
For this sprint, I made sketches of the ending/winning illustration. These are displayed after the player defeats Emmi. I looked for battle scene references from movies and comics and examples online and found a few that fits the Metroid level. This upcoming sprint I will work to iterate on them.

Portfolio 2 Week 3
There was a lot of catch up this week and unfortunately I still couldn't reach a place I am satisfied with. I ended up with a heavy migraine over the weekend and was unable to get as much work done as I had hoped. However I was able to mess around with creating and learning to make a zsphere rig to help with last week's posing. I also messed around with zremeshing techniques to see how a bake would turn out in a test bake. This upcoming week I will need to catch up to completion.

Sprint #3 Delivery Summer
For this sprint, I created 2D UI assets of the Oculus controllers as well as retexture and update the factory walls and floors. I implemented our ID map RGB system like the rest of the experience to these assets.

Portfolio 2 Week 1
For my second project, I am sculpting and modeling my own concept art Bonnie Usami, a bunny girl.
During this first week, I began proxying in Zbrush and starting the sculpting process. Learning from my experiences with the last project, I will be focusing on spending more time sculpting in A pose and stay in symmetry for as long as possible before posing. This way, game ressing will be more straight forward.
To do this, I will get symmetry sculpting finished and the I will bring my sculpt into Maya for retopology. Then I will bring the mesh back into Zbrush to pose and sculpt from. My hope is with this method, I would just have to finesse my game res to compensate for deformations and changes in the mesh from sculpting in pose.
The schedule:
Week 1: Proxy and beginning high res sculpt
Week 2: Finish high res sculpt
Week 3: Finish game res, UVs, first bake
Week 4: Texturing and final display
